Loading mine cars without a person in the dust.
The QDEEP SDK detects mine cars, segments the ore, reads car numbers, and drives the PLC — a fully automatic filling system for an industry that runs 24 hours a day.

Challenge
In a working mine, ore has to be loaded into mine cars around the clock — and traditionally, a person does it. The environment argues against that. Mines run 24 hours a day to hold production efficiency; the air is thick with dust and noise that threaten operator health and safety; and the filling operation itself demands constant monitoring and on-the-spot adjustment, a workload where mistakes come easily. The operation needs three things at once: higher efficiency, lower labour dependence and cost, and less human time spent in a harsh environment.
Solution
YUAN's QDEEP SDK provides mine car detection, ore segmentation, and car number recognition, analysing the scene in real time and recording it as video for later review. Once the AI has read the situation, the software drives the corresponding PLC control — commanding the mine car and the ore hopper directly — to create a fully automatic mineral filling system.
Key benefits
Efficiency rises first: automated filling cuts operator workload and shortens the operation, and because the system meters the fill amount precisely, it avoids both overflow and shortfall. Costs follow — less reliance on operators means lower labour cost, and more accurate filling means less wasted ore. Safety improves most of all: people spend far less time in the dust and noise, and the system's filling records give management a clean audit trail for analysis and continuous improvement.
